Not just inspiration, but tips as well. I constantly look at art-sites and sites that offer graphics tutorials since they are some of the best designed sites on the 'net (in my opinion). Thus I've decided to dump some links to a few of the sites I've looked at recently (some of them I visit quite regularly). Try and equal or surpass some of the techniques used on these sites with your own skills and tools. It's a lot of fun and you learn quite a bit.

http://www.abnormis.com/
http://www.rasterized.org/
http://www.gfxartist.com/
http://www.pixtudio.com/
http://www.spoono.com/
http://www.guistuff.com/

I'll post some links to some pixel sites tomorrow as well. Just going to compile a nice big list of the best ones first.

Another site to get some tips on how to start on PIXEL art is this very good site called Pixeldam. It was a very good idea that the creator thought up by creating a town and letting out "blocks" where people could take it and then design something in pixel art such as a house or something. Some of the work I've seen on it is utterly brilliant and I keep going every day hoping to see some more great work.

Pixeldam
